High Tensile Strength Polyester Needle Punched Felts

High tensile strength polyester needle punched felt is the most common needle felt material.

Polyester needle punched felt is of the highest economy material to treat flue gas with no or a small amount of chemical composition other than air at room temperature.

Polyester needle punched felt should be noted that polyester is not resistant to hydrolysis with the increase of temperature.

If you look at some manuals, you can see that the maximum operating temperature of polyester can reach 130 ℃ or even 150 ℃, but it should be noted that this temperature refers to natural air or dry and hot gas, if there is a little extra moisture in the flue gas, at this temperature, Hydrolysis will happen quickly.

Another thing to note is that although the manual shows that polyester needle punched felt has good acid resistance, it refers to dry acid gas. When we do dust removal, the flue gas and acid gas are almost all accompanied by moisture. Under the interaction of these two components, the tolerance of polyester decreases rapidly.
